When faced with the political conversation my first instinct has forever been to steer clear. You know the saying Dont discuss politics or religion. I have managed to keep my political opinions and phantasmal beliefs confidential, until faced with a political research paper. I, myself being a Republican, Christian have conservative beliefs. I am not ashamed to say that I have always well-kept my Christian principles and my position has yet to shift.
Being as I am a republican I have always back up the Bush Administration on important issues. I began researching the Christian moral ethics of our president and how he is putting them to use. Although I share many of the same views, I disagree with death chair Bush on several issues that he bases on his ethics. I also question his motives. I believe that he is doing what he feels is right; however I do feel that close to things should be reconsidered. For instance religion should not be so force adepty pressed upon our country.
Many fear the possibility of knock-down(a) religious interests taking control of the government in the States and using the coercive power of the state to enact a repressive agenda. There are certainly religious groups that would kindred to do this, but just how realistic are the chances of anything interchangeable this occurring?
